Trout liver mousse pâté

McFarland Springs Trout liver mousse pâté is braised in a classic “Kakuni” braise(Japanese braised pork). Instead of pork, we braised Trout livers! It has been emulsified with butter, lemon, and a touch of salt.

Tasting notes:

Creamy, savory, slightly sweet. Delicious on toast with a pinch of chunky flake salt. Great substitution for chicken liver mousse for a fun charcuterie plate.
